Festival favourites Puppets, Plays and Story Days are back with a whole new puppet telling of Julia Donaldson‘s The Gruffalo.

Once again Carol Burton brings the wonderful story of The Gruffalo to life with her interactive puppet storytelling.

Accompanying adults free.

Please note Tickets bought online to be picked up at the box office will be available to collect on the door of the event.

Poetryscope

Using the power of poetry to educate people about dementia. Local poet Catherine Scott is working with East Riding secondary schools around the theme of dementia. Young people will perform their poetry at library reminiscence sessions, for those living with dementia and their carers. A project we are excited to be piloting in the East Riding.

If you can say the words, you can write the words. Express yourself through poetry - whatever shape or form - and you could win £50! The competition is free to enter for all school aged children, with one prize for primary and one for secondary.
